Horse Stance Meditation

The stance is a waterfall. Ease into it closing your eyes and returning mentally to that state of uncaring. Care not about the world. Do not care. Simply be. Have a moment of an enlightenment. A moment of ultimate unexplainable in words or in our consciousness taintedby thought. Reach a higher consciousness without thought.
Enter into the waterfall of mindnumbing pressure, cold, thundering peace. (because of what you are doing, you will feel incredible heat.) A roaring steady presense of power louder than your life and its worries. You are in the instinctual natural state of a bird in flight or in stillness. A crane standing in the stream sensing vibration in the waters indicating a fish. Or vibrations in the air or changes in the surrounding indicating a predator.

Ease away from the unbearable, and then is back in after a breath, never leaving the mental state.

These excercises in themesleves will cultivate a sharper mind, a stronger and more relaxed body working both on circulation and organs as wells as the external frame. You will become more tolerant of pain and be more aware of you surroundings strengthening your ability as a predator as well as potential prey.

Many endorphins and other chemicals will be coarsing through your body however, instead of being in a hyped up state of nervousness and fear you train to be in this comfortable "pain" in a serene state of "calmness" or at least this still meditative state. This should be how you fight, allowing your natural chemicals in the body to make it stronger slowly in a non harmful way. These excersises are less likely to injure you in the way that lifting weights and pushing when you run can. Again, work at this, but do not push the limit. You are expanding your limit slowly.

Mentally these excersises can be helpful because there is even pressure not only with the ground. You should should feel pushing in and out in all directions s if you are a mountain, unmovable a hurricane. This steady pressure can be calming as well as developing strength. It is, in this way, positive feedback training. You are training to be calm and the excercise should help to calm you. Treatments with constant pressure have been used on autistics to calm them. Children are often calmed by a steady pressured embrace.
After all, couldn't we all use a hug, every day for 20-30 minutes?
