Preparing for little Adam.

The room is almost set, with drapes and curtains crib and clothes.Monkeys, Lions and Elephants faces smiling in a children’s wallpaper pattern.
Ready for little Peter Ding Sheng Cheung, or whatever this person’s name
Will be. Still called Little Adam by us. I suppose I should put the machete under the couch upstairs in storage and eventually the paints cannot just be out the way they are.
They are somewhat toxic after all.
I still use the room to stretch and to paint.
I like the feeling the room has, with all its windows, though usually draped, it is like an observatory of the world.
As if the house were a ship and I could see the Universe in its entirety through the window. Watching the world as a powerful observer.
Soon I will sit here watching little Adam sleep or play with him or read to him I suppose.
And what his personality will be? We could say he will be active but we don’t know.
Though the amount of kicking and moving he does now in the womb hints at that.
